I called to get a 6 inch Oreo cake for a friend the phone call to the pick up was great for a same day order! My friend really enjoyed the cake and the extra goodies. This is reason to support local businesses! Especially a sweet one
We had the Bakery Shoppe bake our personal wedding cake. The folks taking our order were very helpful. We orded lemon kist with no color and simple icing. The cake was tastefully done, except that it had small green decorative elements when we had ordered an all-white cake. We were easily able to remove it, but it was a little nerve-wracking. Overall, the cake tasted and looked great. We would recommend the Bakery Shoppe.
Family owned bakery. Plenty of seating. The decor is eclectic, a homey atmosphere. We got coffee & two pastries. The coffee was surprisingly quite good. I had the chocolate covered glazed donut, it was delish! My husband loved his donut, too. You have got to see these cakes! Beautiful pastries! We’ll be back to try more treats.
I turned to this bakery recently in a pinch to get some treats for my students. I had an order put in at another institution but they cancelled without telling me! I came to the Bakery Shoppe and was able to find some options without eggs (including brownies-huge win!). The man helping me was awesome and even inquired about any potential nut allergies my students might have! I will only come here for my students going forward.
Custom made local Bakery with fresh daily products offered with friendly quick service. When in the area I make it a point to stop in for a pastry and coffee. The atmosphere is relaxing and set up with tables, sofa's and comfortable chairs. Think your relaxing den. The owners are expert custom bakers and for any special occasion they can fulfil your needs.
Called the bakery to see if they had Red velvet cupcakes by chance, they did not but told me they would make them on the spot and have them ready when I got there. I arrived about 10 mins later and the guy was super nice and had them all ready to go! Outstanding service , and the cupcakes were amazing so moist and the icing was so fluffy I’ll definitely be back!

I have lived in 6 different states, and I have never had such wonderful cakes and cookies as those at The Bakery Shoppe. My husband took Christmas cookies from this bakery to a party in Greenville. Everyone wanted the name of the bakery. The ingredients used in their cakes are high quality such as real cocoa in cakes and icing. You will not be disappointed in this bakery. Great cafe au lait also. Very nice owner. A pleasure to work with!
We ordered a custom cake for our Halloween party and it turned out great. Ready when promised, looked better than the example we provided and tasted great. Our guests ate every bite. We will definitely be back!
The Bakery Shoppe has been serving up delectable goodies for all sweet tooth’s in Huntersville for many years now and is always a great option to sate a craving for a cake slice, donut, cookie, brownie, muffin and a whole plethora of wonderful delights at a very reasonable price. Where else can you go get a huge apple fritter, a chocolate glazed donut at least twice the size of those from some franchise places, an apple crumble mini apple pie, a monster chocolate eclair and big thick chocolate brownie for $21 in 2025 .. yep, at The Bakery Shoppe ..
